Doucals is an Italian footwear brand that is known for its exquisite men’s collections. The brand was founded in 1968 by Mario Giannini as an artisanal shoemaking workshop. Initially named as Ducale, the label served aristocrats in central Italy. Tapping into the influence of English style in the 1970s, the founder learned the British shoe making skills for a year in Northampton before returning home to implement them in his work. English aesthetics combined with Italian craftsmanship became the signature of Doucals’ footwear. Today, the brand is known for creating elegant and stylish pairs that are handcrafted and polished to add a touch of sophistication and character to each pair.
